I’m Badal Mallick, a Mumbai-based advertising and fashion photographer. I studied photography at the Light and Shadow Institute in Kolkata, a school known for nurturing emerging talent. My journey began several years ago as a freelance photographer and evolved through apprenticeships with some of the most respected names in the industry. These early experiences helped shape my distinct visual style and sharpened my skills in commercial storytelling.

Today, I work independently, collaborating with both established companies and emerging brands to create compelling, high-impact imagery. With a keen eye for detail and a strong narrative sense, I bring creativity and professionalism to every project—be it a high-profile ad campaign or a fashion editorial shoot.
